However, on the palate, it lacks depth and complexity, reminiscent of sipping overly sweet apricot compote. The decision to fortify the wine raises questions—perhaps it lacked body before fortification was considered. Overall, it leaves one with mixed feelings, independent of its price, which, incidentally, is absurdly high.
