Although it's a well-made Auslese, I find myself somewhat disappointed. The bouquet is a tad restrained, offering honey, tropical fruits, apple marmalade, citrus, petroleum, and wet stones. It's well-balanced, fresh, and sweet, yet it doesn't quite captivate or intrigue as much as I'd hoped based on expectations and my previous experience.

We decided to finish wonderful evening with this sweet Riesling. Rich bouquet full of honey, tropical fruits, peach and spices. Fresh, ripe and well balanced. Wonderful age and great QPR.
