Ah, after a parade of aged wines, Acclivi truly was a breath of fresh air. There's something magnetic about that nose - it draws you in with layers of jammy fruits, amaro's bittersweet complexity, licorice's dark allure, and those primal notes of tar. Then it shifts to black fruits mingling with wild strawberries, all grounded by that evocative forest-floor earthiness. The concentration is remarkable, with tannins that announce their presence without shouting. But what gets me is how it balances raw power with such precise architecture - young and muscular yet showing real finesse and depth. This is seriously delicious stuff!
This wine is both charming and intriguing, making it easy to fall in love with its allure. The slightly developed nose reveals an enticing blend of jammy fruits, amaro, licorice, tar, black fruits, wild strawberries, and the earthy aroma of a damp forest floor. Its concentration and intensity are matched by a wonderful structure, maintaining elegance and subtlety. The finish is long and delicious.
