As they say, when you are not sure about origin of a wine because it shows characteristics of Old World and New World styles, it must be South Africa. Charming bouquet of grapefruit, gooseberry, grass, wet stones and elderberry. Well balanced and structured, it is light and fresh with long delicious finish. Sky rocket value ($13.5).
Southern Right is named after whales species that visit a place near the winery in the Walker Bay district. Property is owned by the same family that also owns Ashbourne and Hamilton Russel Vineyards.
