Refugi Brut Nature Reserva

Unlike cheaper options by Refugi, this one lost all the fun and easiness on the altar of opulence. IMO it's over-oaked. Jerez, baked apples, almonds, and buttered croissants. Round and intense. But not fascinating. Yet it's well-made.

It seems like the oak and sur lie influence here is too strong. Baked apple, almonds, and buttered croissant filled with some cream. Good structure, round, and persistent aftertaste. Overall it's good, but IMO their cheaper wines have better QPR.
