Tasting Notes

· @Garage·Roses de Jeanne by Ivan Omelchenko
4.3

Same impressions as a few days ago - still spot on. A lovely surprise to see it pulled out as a bonus bottle. Drinking 744 now? Absolutely the right call. It's in a great place.

4.3

Oh wow, what a beauty. It's developed so gracefully - brioche, acacia, honey, that cidery edge, baked apples and a touch of Jerez. Everything in its place and precise, and yet still so expressive. Structured, long, and deeply satisfying. There's real intensity now, but it never feels forced. I hadn't touched it in two years, just let it rest, and opening it now was absolutely the right call. Worth every moment of waiting.

· @Carpathian Mountains
4.2

Tasted in Carpathian Mountains from basic Spigelau glassware.

Even after 8 months since my last tasting, Cuvée 744 still seem too young. All those beautiful notes of citrus, white flowers, chalk, apple seeds and crème brûlée, but it lacks in the volume and persistence. So let's wait and see how it evolves.

· @101 Bar
4.2

Tasted in 101 Bar after Na Uzbičči event. We decided to keep it going haha.

It's not a secret that I love this producer. I started to appreciate Champagne with his Cuvée 742, so now I consider it my duty to drink every new release. Based on 2016, spent 36 months sur lie. Toast, citrus, white flowers, chalk, apple seeds. Fresh, expressive and delicious. Still young, needs more time in the bottle.
