This time the wine shows increased openness compared to before. The captivating nose features iodine, lime, chalk, wet cellar, bruised apple, and yellow fruits with a touch of honey. Although it remains a bit elusive, once you grasp it, the wine reveals an impressive generosity. The palate is neatly mineral-driven and slightly racy, yet it enthralls with its charming ripe fruit core. Still youthful, it's intriguing to ponder how this wine will develop with time.
The aroma is somewhat closed but still reveals beautiful notes of iodine, lime, chalk, wet cellar, cider, and yellow fruits. On the palate, the wine is magnificent—the combination of lime, chalk, and iodine works wonders. It is very mineral but not overly delicate, as it has the right amount of intensity and volume. Wonderfully balanced. Additionally, there's a hint of sake in the finish, which I absolutely adore.
