Indeed, this wine might not immediately evoke typical Savagnin traits, but it remains fascinating and neatly crafted. The profile includes nuts, yellow fruits, bruised apples, white flowers, citrus, and a hint of honey. It features good minerality and acidity, with a long aftertaste. Although it's currently too young, this wine shows great potential and is likely to become truly awesome within the next five years. Somehow it reminded me of old-school Chablis by Domaine Daniel-Etienne Defaix.
