Good on paper, but I couldn't even finish the glass - there was a clump of precipitated protein floating in the wine. Harmless, sure, but for me it really spoils the experience.

Otherwise, it had a lot going for it: pepper, red fruit, smoke, blood. Fresh, medium-bodied, slightly smoky, with a long finish. A shame about this particular bottle.
