Mandolás

Tasted blind. My bet was on an older Riesling of not-so-typical origin. Turned out to be a 6 years old Furmint from a bodega with a funny name owned by famous Vega Sicilia. Generous and friendly bouquet: machine oil, apple seeds, apples themselves, citrus, dried herbs, lemon tart with meringue. It has an attractive palate, fresh, with a long oily and flavourful aftertaste. Not meditative, just consume, and enjoy. Already close to its peak, so don't hold it for too long.
