Bottle variation. Less fruity, more mineral and funky. Still delicious and interesting Pinot Noir. Spices, wood, VA, leather, and raspberries. Good volume, tannin and acidity. Medium body.
An excellent young Pinot Noir. Beautiful aromas, a combination of ripe raspberries, source cherry, wood, spices, and floral-herbal notes (peonies with tobacco). Medium body, almost perfectly balanced, elegant, fresh and juicy yet firm. Tannin is still young but well-integrated. It has a long and quite persistent aftertaste with flavours of red currant, wood and spices with a mineral finish. Delicious stuff.
25 years old vines. Classic open top fermentation with indigenous yeasts and foot treading. 25% whole cluster to bring structure into this warm vintage. Basked pressed. Aged for 10 month in used 300L French oak. Racking into stainless to preserve freshness. 1100 bottles produced.
