A mere extra year of aging makes this wine unequivocally delicious and approachable as all the craziness and rough edges are calmed, now contributing to a richer and deeper experience. On the nose, it offers a mix of dark berries, Nordic berries, pencil shavings, wormwood, animal farm, and tobacco. On the palate, it's juicy, balanced, and sophisticated with a rich, flavourful, and slightly elevated finish. Wonderfully integrated VA.
This wine strikes a curious chord with its meld of black fruits and an unexpected yet delightful overlay of dusty library shelves, supple leather, tobacco leaves, and a hint of chocolate. Although delicate in its approach, there's a slight effervescence that adds a whimsical touch. A fine representation of natural Pinot Noir, it manages to weave complexity without losing its balance.
