Perricone comes from the historical San Lucio vineyard near Palermo. Vines were planted in 2011. Fermentation happens in stainless steel tanks. Maceration lasts for 13 days. Aged in 225-liter French oak barrels (Allier and Tronçais), second and third use, for circa 12 months

Lovely Perricone in its youth. A burst of ripe fruits with subtle flowery notes mixed with herbs. Juicy, fresh and overall pleasing. Slightly lacks in balance. You better chill it a little bit and decant it.
