This producer clearly delivers some old-school wines. No exception here. While the wine initially appears reticent, demanding proper patience and attention (and maybe better glassware), what unfolds is compelling. The aromatic palette moves from leather and dried berries through spices, with subtle smoke and earth notes providing depth. Floral elements add an unexpected lift. Structurally, it's well-balanced - the acidity is precise, and while there's notable power, it carries itself with grace. A complex wine that rewards attention.
