Beautiful bouquet. Dried fruits, violets, pepper, leather and earthy notes. Good combination of delicacy and volume. It plays well thanks to a good level of acidity. And it still has potential, it seems. Interesting style.

One more wine that I tasted blind. At first, I thought about some Canarian wine. But these notes of cherry, blood, red flowers and earth combined with grippy tannin pointed me to Nebbiolo from Piedmont. My guess was the 2010 vintage. I had a feeling that I’d tasted this wine already. I randomly pointed to shelves with Sandro Fay. Despite being correct, it’s mere luck. But at least I’ve guessed the grape. Nice style, and complex, but it needs more time to evolve.
