Tasting Notes
Tasted blind and guessed. The style is quite unique and even time (oxygen) didn't fully tame it, though it improved it a bit. A fistful of bitter herbs (rosemary, thyme and wormwood) mixed with spoiled red fruits, spices and VA. It's decently balanced and juicy with a rather short aftertaste.
I clearly don't understand this style. It's like learning about bitter herbs (like thyme, rosemary, and wormwood) for the first time and using them every-bloody-where with all the zeal of a person touched by the bliss of discovery. Add some cranberries, sweat (don't want to know whose sweat it is) and other VA stuff. Ok, it has some flowers as well as more fruits. Light body, high acidity, lack of balance. And despite these numerous descriptors, it feels rather simple.
