Oh wow, what have we dug up here. Mango, IPA, saturated - incredibly saturated and bright. I remember it being lighter. Powerful, vibrant. Loads of herbs. It's delicious, cool stuff.
Blind, I was convinced it was Friuli. But no - it's Greco di Tufo from Australia, which I haven't had in over two years. This has evolved into something more intense, more concentrated than I remembered.
Greco di Tufo from Australia! Every time I open a bottle of Give Up the Ghost, I can't help but enjoy it. A fistful of dried herbs and flowers (hehe) combined with tea you forgot about, tilia hone and hairy peaches. Sophisticated and fascinating wine. Fresh and flavourful. Also, don't forget VA. It plays nicely here.
Great skin contact Greco di Tufo. As great as 2018. Neat and nuanced bouquet featuring tea, apricots, dried herbs and honey. But on the palate it's even more fascinating and complex. Fresh, with the right volume and multiple flavours: tea with bergamot, apricot flowers, herbs and notes of VA. Tasty!
