Tasting Notes
Tasted blind and didn't guess. Shame on me, right? Well, that's not the last wine I didn't recognise this day, so stay tuned. Calm and easygoing macerated Falanghina. Dried apricots, orange zest and white flowers. Medium-acidity (that was the hint I missed), but round and pleasant to drink. Good table wine.
Simple and easy-going macerated Falanghina. Dried apricots, orange zest and white flowers. Some hints of spoilage, but in a mineral and non-disturbing way. Medium acidity, but overall good impression thanks to the metallic finish.
Yet another 1L bottle by Valentina Passalacqua and her Calcarius project. Skin contact Falanghina (7-8 days), not demanding, but so drinkable and enjoyable. Rotting apricot, flowers, apricot compote, peach. Well balanced, fresh. I literally gulped whole bottle by myself during a long online call.
