Sanvalentino Rosso

Tasted during after party of Il Pirata event.

Interesting blend of Sagrantino, Sangiovese and Montepulciano by famous Paolo Bea. Already shows some traces of development. Beautiful bouquet features cherry confiture, rose petals, medicinal herbs, smoke, underbrush and subtle hints of leather with pickles. Despite 9 years, it is still energetic, fresh and young, I can only imagine its development. Great effort.
