I tasted it blind (knowing it was Pinot Noir) but did not guess the region or producer. The age was more apparent due to obvious notes of old leather, machine oil, and cherry confiture. All that mixed with roasted sunflower seeds and unexpected notes of tomato stem and Sicilian orange. Round, oily, and fruity with questionable bitterness in the finish. Yet it's complex and intriguing.
