Nero d'Avola di Sonoma—sounds about right. While not overly complex and easy to understand, it's still a good wine with something to offer. A quite typical bouquet of dark fruits and dark olives, combined with nice freshness and characteristic intensity. A bit jammy, a bit syrupy, but delicious, delicate and non-pretentious.
