Ratings
Tasted blind, this wine initially presents an expressive bouquet, filled with intriguing aromas of tarragon, cream soda, bruised yellow apples, apple candy, and distinct Jerez notes. These aromas set high expectations, which are initially met upon first tasting. The palate begins broadly and richly, suggesting a depth of flavours. However, this richness doesn't sustain, as the wine soon reveals a thinner profile with a disappointingly short aftertaste. Despite this shortfall in the palate's development, the wine retains a certain appeal. It's friendly and shows signs of thoughtful craftsmanship, with a degree of complexity likely attributable to its later disgorgement.
