It is always a scary experience to open a bottle of L'Octavin. Sometimes the content is OK, but in most cases, it's a personal challenge. Volatile bouquet of green apricots, yellow cherry plum, white flowers and pickled tomato. And someone spilt acetone nearby. Crazy and funky palate with unbalanced acidity (partially due to VA). Simple and not pleasant. Maybe a year in the bottle will improve it. But today, it's a no-no.
