Although this wine is widely praised, I find it lacking in substance. Crafting a good rosé can indeed be challenging, but this one feels mediocre. That said, it's not inherently bad—it just comes across as pretentious for a straightforward wine. It has some charming notes of red Nordic berries, red apple, and buttered chausson aux pommes. However, on the palate, it is excessively sweet, even by my standards, and feels overly posh yet sterile, with insufficient acidity. In terms of acidity, even Testalonga's pet-nats offer a better balance. The aftertaste is brief, leaving much to be desired. While tastes differ, for the same price, I'd prefer a bottle of Rosé de Macération by Benoît Lahaye for a far superior rosé experience.

This wine presents aromas of strawberry and redcurrant, offering a crisp mouthfeel. However, I find it a touch too sweet for my preference. It's straightforward and easy to drink, making it suitable for occasions where the wine itself isn't the main focus. For those seeking a bubbly accompaniment to a lively atmosphere, a basic Cava or Prosecco might serve just as well, providing better quality for the price. 🤷
