Seems like in 2019 the counterlabel calls this wine "Le P'tit Blanc du Tue-Boeuf". In 2021, the counterlabel simply says Vin Blanc.
Ratings
Funny how things change. In 2019, this cuvée was labelled (on the counterlabel) Le P'tit Blanc du Tue-Boeuf, but by 2021 it had quietly rebranded as simply Vin Blanc on the counterlabel.
I hadn't revisited this release in a while and stumbled upon it almost by accident. Still instantly recognisable - classic Sauvignon Blanc aromas reframed through an oxidative-natural lens. Gooseberry, blackcurrant leaf, grapefruit and canned peaches, rounded out with baked pear, honey and pickles. Fresh, rounded, slightly oxidative, but balanced enough to keep it clean and charming. Like a crunchy, grown-up Sauvignon that's managed to stay both fun and composed.
Very good Sauvignon Blanc in a slightly oxidative style. Expressive bouquet of gooseberry, grapefruit, baked pear and honey. It's fresh, even crunchy, with right amount of volume, good balance and long aftertaste. So overall you get non-mainstream SB that helps in on a hot summer day despite the volume and body.
