Someone called it the best Chablis, but stylistically it’s like rating ciders on a wine-oriented site. In the case of Terroirs de Béru, I could not care less about the label as the wine is neat, intense and delicious. Someone clearly tried opening an oyster by shooting it with a Winchester rifle and so the bouquet is full of gunpowder, iodine, pebbles from the sea, lemon tart, and baked apples. Maybe it’s a slightly fizzy Champagne in disguise. Good balance. Nice and flavourful aftertaste.
