The Langhe Nebbiolo is sourced from a vineyard in the village of Barbaresco, known for its lean soils rich in mineral salts. The harvest is carried out by hand, with the grapes undergoing mechanical pressing that expels the whole stalks without crushing the seeds. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentations take place in steel tanks, with maceration lasting around 15-20 days. This Nebbiolo is aged exclusively in steel and concrete, which helps to maintain its purity and expression of the vine and terroir. Bottling is done in the waning moon phase, with no filtrations or clarifications.

I served this bottle blind, and some even guessed the producer, marking it as arguably the best Langhe I've tasted to date. It's delicious and ready to enjoy. The nose is incredibly seductive, initially offering the sweet aroma of barberry candy, followed by notes of wild strawberry, mulberry, earth, peonies, and a hint of mushrooms. It has a wonderful texture—delicate, multilayered, and complex. The balance is nearly perfect, leading to a long, juicy aftertaste with a metallic touch in the finish. Gentle yet full of character, this wine is a true delight.
Pale like some Australian Pinot Noirs! The nose is seductive with notes of wild strawberry, mulberry, earth, peonies, and a hint of mushrooms. Wonderful texture—delicate, multilayered, and complex. Almost perfect balance with a long, juicy aftertaste. There's even a hint of blood sausage in the finish. Gentle yet full of character.
