Filagnotti

This wine is truly impressive on its own and, especially after the slightly flabby Blossom, feels like exploring non-Euclidean spaces. Filagnotti showcases neat intensity, concentration, and complexity, making it both charming and delicious. It benefited greatly from some time to settle after its journey, offering a marked improvement (or perhaps it's bottle variation?). With notes of bruised apples, pears, nuts, freshly painted fence, raw dough, and sweet spices, it is both fresh and structured, with a long, confident aftertaste. It carries a sensation of slight off-dryness despite having virtually zero residual sugar, but this is not at all distracting.
