Ottavio

Funky and not simple. Spontaneous fermentation in the bottle gives you the freedom to enjoy it either as slightly sparkling wine or as a mors (after all the bubbles are gone). Aside from expected cranberry, cherry and VA notes, its bouquet has some curious notes: hibiscus tea and peanut crunch on a slice of dark bread. It could have a higher score, but Ottavio has two problems this year: unpleasantly short aftertaste and unbalanced ethanol. Overall it feels like a young unfinished wine - easy to drink but gets you wasted in no time.
